Scenario Paimtball in Acton California. The scenario was called The Eight Day and 300 people showed up to shoot at each other for 48 hours. BIG fun.

As an audiophile even I wasn't ready for the depth and breadth of possibilities of what headphones can be, Suffice it to say my wallet took a beating after this gathering.

Jeff and Lesley have Christmas for the first time in years after we finally finish our house remodel.

Derek, Dion and I head out to Pomona for the annual Off-Road show. This was a very Jeep centric show which was great for Derek since he had a brand new Jeep Rubicon on order. There was a bit of Hummer related stuff for Dion and they had a new FJ there for my LandCruiser habit. Dion and I got to meet our hero Rick Russell. He's on the TV. There was a rock crawling demonstration in the afternoon that took place on a giant pile of granite boulders.

Dave Curtis came to the US with a group of guys that he is in the Territorial Army with and who he served in Iraq with. Basically we had dinner and drank a bunch. Great to see Dave and nice to meet all of these guys.

This was the first surprise birthday party I have ever had and I was totally surprised. This was the best birthday party I have ever had.
